Italy’s preparations for the upcoming friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece continued today at Coverciano. In the afternoon, the Azzurri trained on the Vittorio Pozzo pitch at the Federal Technical Centre. The squad will hold another training session tomorrow morning before travelling to Luxembourg later in the day.
Meanwhile, the number of players in the squad for the matches against Luxembourg and Greece has risen to 25, with Fiorentina defender Niccolò Fortini set to remain with the group until the end of the training camp. Fortini had originally been called up by Silvio Baldini to take part in the preparatory phase for the two friendlies.
