Italy’s group-stage campaign in the UEFA Women’s Nations League will conclude in Parma. Tuesday 5 December, the Stadio Ennio Tardini will host the match against Switzerland, which will be played four days after the match away at World Champions, Spain. This will be the second match played in the Emilia city for the Azzurre; last time out, they beat Lithuania 7-0 in a World Cup Qualifier.

The meeting in Parma will be vital for the final standings, which currently sees the Azzurre in third place, behind Spain and Sweden. This phase of the competition will determine the promotions and relegations between the leagues in view of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 qualifiers as well as establishing which four teams will progress to the final phase; the two finalists qualify for the 2024 Olympics, together with France, the host country.
