Italy will kick off their campaign in the fifth edition of the UEFA Nations League on Friday, 25 September, against Belgium. Yesterday’s draw in Brussels placed Italy in Group 1 of League A alongside France, Belgium, and Turkey. UEFA released the full tournament schedule this morning. The Azzurri will make their debut at home against the Red Devils, before traveling to Turkey on Monday, 28 September, and then to France on Friday, 2 October. Italy will play four matches in eleven days within this first international window of the season, which will come to an end on Monday, 5 October with a home game against Turkey. In November, Italy will host France and then travel to Belgium for the final group match.

The two top teams in each group will qualify for the quarter-finals, the fourth-placed team will be relegated to League B, and the third-placed team will play a play-off to stay in League A against one of the runners-up from League B. Quarter-finals and play-offs are scheduled for March 2027, and finals will take place in June 2027.
