
The FIGC will honour the memory of Giorgio Armani before Italy vs Estonia

The FIGC and its President Gabriele Gravina are deeply saddened by the passing of Giorgio Armani, the king of modern fashion, who died today at the age of 91 years old. As one of the most renowned stylists of all time, he brought 'Made in Italy' to a worldwide level in the 70's. He was always close to the world of sport, after designed outfits for the National Team for the 1994 World cup. In 2019, Emporio Armani because the FIGC's Fashion & Luxury Outfitter and the Men's, Women's and Under 21 National Team continue to wear their garments. Giorgio Armani will be remembered by the Federation tomorrow in Bergamo, before kick-off in the match between Italy and Estonia.
The FIGC President, Gabriele Gravina, commented on the passing: "The death of Giorgio Armani is a great loss for Italy. His contribution to the world of fashion and sport represents a true source of national pride. I want to thank him against, as I did when he decided to dress the National Teams, for everything that he did in his life. With his art and profound dedication to his work, he fostered an inspiration to improve oneself everyday, always looking towards excellence, which was an obsession for him".
