The Italian Under-16 National Team will close out 2025 with a double friendly against their Portuguese peers, scheduled for Tuesday, 16 December (3:00 PM) and Thursday, 18 December (11:00 AM) at the Coverciano Federal Technical Centre.
The Azzurrini arrive at this double clash following a series of international tests: against England in August in Rome, a 2-1 win at the Tre Fontane Stadium and a 2-1 defeat at the Acqua Acetosa “Giulio Onesti” Olympic Preparation Centre; against Spain in September at Las Rozas, a 1-0 loss and a 2-1 win; against Wales U17 in October at Ferentino, a 1-1 draw and a 3-2 win; and against Ukraine in November at Coverciano, two victories, 6-2 and 3-0. Both Portugal matches will be broadcast live on Vivo Azzurro TV.
Coach Manuel Pasqual has called up 22 players, all born in 2010, who will gather in Florence on Sunday, 14 December.
