After the game against the Republic of Ireland on 13 October (17:30 CEST), the Arena Garibaldi-Romeo Anconetani in Pisa will also host the Under 21s’ game against Sweden on Tuesday 17 November (17:30 CEST). The two games are vital fixtures in Group 1 of qualification to the Euros, with Italy currently placed second on 13 points, three behind the Republic of Ireland but with a game in hand.

The Azzurini will play in Pisa twice in the space of two months; though the only other time the Tuscan city hosted was on 9 April 1986, when Italy beat their English counterparts 2-0 in the first leg of the Euro semi-final.
