Great on the field and in the classroom. The Italy Under 17's, which two days ago secured qualification for the quarter-finals of the European Championship with a game to spare, continues to impress, both on and off the pitch. Thanks to the agreement between the FIGC and the University of Rome Foro Italico, the boys coached by Massimiliano Favo are successfully pursuing their academic paths during the final phase of the prestigious continental tournament. Supported by a school tutor from the first day of the training camp: Professor Stefano Presciutti.
"Once again this year," emphasised the spokesperson in Cyprus for the project 'High Performance on the Field but also in the Classroom,' "we have achieved excellent results. I am truly proud of the performance of these student-athletes, both in sports and in their studies". Professor Presciutti then added, "The boys understand the importance of the time we dedicate to study by attending daily sessions reserved for this activity." Education, which is more crucial now than ever in the development of young individuals, especially athletes. The synergy between the academic and athletic preparation of the young players called up for the Azzurre National Teams provides them with a tremendous opportunity. The school tutor concluded with "I thank the Federation for allowing these boys to simultaneously pursue multiple paths towards their future".
