Euro 2021 qualification will begin on 10 September in Castel di Sangro for the Under-21 National Team. The Stadio Teofilo Patini will host the match at 18:30 CEST with the Azzurrini up against Luxembourg in the opening fixture and it will be the new Coach Paolo Nicolato’s competitive debut.
The team will play in Castel di Sangro for a sixth time. In the five previous matches there, Italy Under-21s have won four and drawn one. The most recent result was a 2-0 win over Lithuania in November 2015.
Italy have won all of their matches against Luxembourg at Under-21 level with ten wins from ten. The most recent meeting was in November 2009.
