The Stadio Angelo Massimino in Catania will host Paolo Nicolato’s first match in charge of the Under-21 National Team at 18:30 CEST on Friday 6 September. Moldova will provide the opposition for the first friendly of the season. It will be the team’s first-ever match in Catania.


On 10 September, the Azzurrini will play in Castel di Sangro in the first EURO 2021 qualifier against Luxembourg. There have been four previous matches against Moldova between 1996 and 2005 with all ending in Italy wins.
